off the bat, this video may be a little long, so on the play line I will have time stamps for each section, so you can skip around if you like
This is an announcement video of sorts, more so to say what my goals going forward are, what I have planned, and what's been going on. Also an addition to what I already have.
First things first. I think I finally have a set schedule that I will be able to remain consistent on, and through the past few weeks it does appear to work. After one small tweak its ready. So, every Saturday I will have a review up. Originally was going to be Sunday's but Saturday makes more sense with new albums usually dropping on Fridays. In the event a new album does in fact drop that's on my radar that does not release on the usual Friday, I will still have a review on Saturday, be it a new review of something else or a classic. For the album releasing on the off day I will release the vid off schedule. Wednesday will be dedicated to the rankings, top 10 lists, ext. One that I'm working on will be expanded beyond that so be on the look out. Going forward, any of the major videos will be on the green screen, any of the short vids, or discussions such as this, will be here, which I have dubbed Creative Corner for the time being
Secondly, you may have noticed a set of videos I have released during the passed week, Titled Fenrirock vs The Zilcho. As I explained in part 1, Those are videos I have been wanting to make for a while now, and we finally have the set up, mostly, to do it. We need to figure out some lighting and what not and a way to improve the sound. Its actually not that bad now but there is always room for improvement. This will be an ongoing series, and may not always feature darts. These videos will be airing on the off days, and may not allways fill up every day of the week depending on how the sets go. I'm not uploading them for views, they are a fun project for me as 1, I love darts, 2, I'm hanging out and having fun with other people, 3 they are a blast to edit. I do put a lot of time into them, so if you want to check them out I do recommend you check out the silly shenanigans we get on to. Release time, barring technical issues, for main videos or not, will be 12pm PST.o
Thirdly, I want to address a misconception that some people don't seem to be able to grasp, as extremely evident in my Tesla review. What does the word Meh mean to you? Does it mean bad? Does it mean something is just, ok? If that was your choice, you are of the same mind set as myself. I knew what I was getting into with reviews and I knew people would get less then enthused when they hear I don't like something as much as them, but damn do people get defensive. So real quick, since I haven't gone over this since I first launched this channel, and since barely anyone watched that video anyway, I wanted to go over my rankings real quick, starting from the bottom.
Time to Play Frisbee - Thankfully, I have yet to give this one out. If I had to think of an album to fit into it however it would be this Ace Freely album. Its the worst of the worst. Albums I feel don't deserve your time. As the name implies, its an album you go outside and toss it like a frisbee.
Crap Baskets - I reference TFS a lot, if you watch the dart vids you will see. This is for albums that if you think about listening to it, you just think, ah, crap baskets. Not for the terrible, but it aint good. Like, an album you may randomly get the urge to listen too and you have no idea why
Meh - the controversial one that I did not foresee being so controversial, but I am not changing it. Meh is Meh, if you understand meh, then good for you. If you don't, then good for you too, but learn meh before screaming at someone for saying MEH. Its not good, its not bad, its meh. If you wanna check it out, then go ahead, but don't blame me if you hate it, don't thank me if you like it. Meh
Give it a Spin - The one I have handed out the most, and I feel this is the one where things need to change. I am going to be downgrading this as of this date, so past videos where I gave this ranking, listen to my words closely to determine which end of the scale it lands on. This will now be given to good, as really it has been in a way, but not the great. I wanted to create a distance between this and First class, as the line at times get too close. If I give this one, I am saying that the album is good, and that I recommend you check it, or, you should give it a spin.
Most Excellent - The new rating, bridging the gap between Give it a spin and First Class. I feel this addition was necessary, to help better understand what I felt was, most excellent, and something that's not just good. Inspiration for the name, is obvious and in no way bogus
First Class - The cream of the crop, the best of the best, the Dr with my Pepper. An exclusive group that I have been hesitant to put some into to, and I think adding Most excellent will actually help with making the distinction. Things haven't changed, this is the ranking that I feel the best music gets to reach, just as long as they don't flip out on me and burn my village.
Lastly for this video, I want to discuss what My goals are. By the end of this year, I want to reach 100 subscribers. And I cannot do that without your help. I appreciate every thing that you have done for me, thank you. Please, help pass this video along, or any of my videos you feel a friend or family member will enjoy. I will remain consistent on this schedule I have going forward. If I am able in the future, to increase the Music related content, and Remain consistent with it, than I will. But if I see a chance for fall off then I won't. I've already fallen once and I don't want to do it again. One other thing I ask is if you know of any good sources that stay up to date on album releases, please let me know so I'm not blindsided like with the manson album.
